hovering a couple of games above .500 is what i was hoping for this season, so i'm not too upset.

it'll take jedi at least a couple more seasons of winters/julys to put together a good roster. in the disastrous wake jack z left. i know there's a litany of complaints about everything he did this offseason, but i agree with virtually none of them.

Also, Cozart is basically Brendon Ryan w/ the glove but he's a very good contact hitter that will get you 15 HR's, .265 avg or so...

Hard to complain with acquiring a proven SS, but at what cost? If we can keep Marte for the future while upgrading the position for the rest of the year it gives us ammunition in the winter.

After reading through some of the trades/rumors it seems as though everyone who has a no trade clause seemed to have Seattle on this list. Do they have to list a certain number of teams or is Seattle really that hated of a location?
