After drafting 0 Mississippi players going into last years draft, the coming out of the drafting had drafting two. (Kelly and Cody Core) I have now drafted 3 the last two years. Had to bring Kelly home to where it all started for him. ;)...

Navin is on PT so he might be an hour or so, but I sent him a text. It always helps if after you select you text me back letting me know you picked so I can text the next person.

Thanks and happy drafting.

Have fun and don't stress (that was for Q and OmarEasy)

I was between Conner and Clement.

Hope I chose right.

I thought the top three guys were Kelly, Lamar and Marks. I'm glad my decision was made easy. I would have taken Lamar at 3 but really did not want him. He drove me nuts last year and I don't trust that Petrino will keep him in if the throwing doesn't improve.

Interesting on Conner. I didn't think he'd go quite so early, but of course there is upside. I decided to keep Nick Wilson over him because of the unknowns with Pitt. Their passing O could be terrible without Boyd so I don't know if the rushing game will be as effective. Beyond the cancer, he was also coming back from a serious injury, so I don't think they give him the # of carries they used to.

I read Michigan State wants a single RB to be the guy and seems like most Spartan fans assume LJ Scott would be that player. I really had him rated clearly above all the other RBs left.

For Skyler Howard, I had a first round grade on him. I don't like the schedule too much with two bye weeks and out of conference games vs Mizzou vs BYU. He was decent fantasy-wise last year and played quite mediocre. Without the top RB (Smallwood) I'd think WVU throws more than last season.

Backtracking a bit, the Dayes pick was interesting by the new owner. I wouldn't think someone would come up with that pick without having time to do their homework. Some risk considering the offense is being re-done a bit, but his points per game #s last year were off the charts.

yeah, Springstein has always been able to draft very savvily with very little time for preparation.

I remember thinking the same thing when he took over for Q in the middle of the draft in one of those very early years of this league.

In fact, I remember wondering during that draft whether he was just an alter ego of DC's

Nice pick of Dede Westbrook. Thought I was going to go with him, then changed for LJ Scott. Westbrook should be lined up for a big year.

last year picking up the FCS transfer QB in Eugene paid off for me.

This year, I'm happy to get the same situation in the third round, instead of the first

Vernon Adams went for 2600 passing yards, 26 TDs; 150 rushing yards, 2 TDs.....okay, for a first rounder.

In total, Oregon QBs accounted for 22 fantasy points per game by my calculation which is good, but not great.

Happy to get Williams there for 2 reasons.

1) he's a bell cow who Utah already gave tons of carries to last year when booker was out.

and

2) he's the closest i can get to a UConn Husky in this draft. lol
