He has the range of an Earl Thomas? That would be impressive. He would be a first round pick if that was true if his medical clears.

Seen the comparison, who knows how it pans out.:noidea:

And he had a lot of consideration as a potential first rounder prior to the injury early in 2015 season.

As I looked at that clip provided earlier the NT Billings is my pick in the first round.

NJ.com's Mark Eckel spoke with three NFL scouts who all praise WVU S Karl Joseph's game.

"He's the best safety in the class," one professional evaluator said. The trio of scouts praised Joseph's physical nature and ball skills, adding his name kind of fell off the radar due to a knee injury in early October. Joseph played plenty of single high safety, which allowed him to attack sideline receivers with the ball in the air and lay huge hits at the catch point.

I guess he can do both safety spots

Absolutely. Most of the mocks I have seen don't have the top center going until the mid-late 2nd. Some even the early third round. Having a great C would be great... There just doesn't look like there is a Frederick or Pouncey in this draft.

Pretty sure Frederick didn't look like Frederick before he was taken.

True, I guess I was referring to what they have become (although I believe Frederick was rated the #1 Center). The Pounceys were touted pretty high if I recall.

Bottom line... Too many other positions of need to take a C at #21.

I wouldn't look too closely at rankings for a position in a given year. The Pouncey were slated at first rounders but Frederick was slated as a second or third rounder.

Walter's latest draft follows...

1- Kenny Clark
2- Kendall Fuller
3- Jaylon Smith
4- Evan Boehm
5- Kelvin Taylor

It was a very interesting draft but would love this as a general thought. I may disagree with who we took in the first but like the position. Fuller and Smith in the second and third could pay in major ways and would be worth the gamble.
