Trade Dosier. Trade Santana. This team isn't going to compete next year. Get back some picks/prospects while the value is there.

Santana shoulda been dealt at the deadline.

I'm shocked a NL team didn't take him.

I'll point and laugh at whichever one doesn't get a WC. All 3 could badly use him

I'm hoping the entire coaching staff is purged by Monday morning.

Glad it's finally over.

Buxton finally showed off some of the promise in his last call up. Hope it stays with him into next season.

Kepler tailed off at the end, which was disappointing.

Sano did his thing, while playing somewhat fatigued/injured over the last month. Still needs to lose 10-20 lbs, and cut down his SOs.

Berrios looked terrible in his stints up here.

Not sure where the brain trust is at heading into the offseason, but I still say try and move Santana and Dozier, as this team isn't going to compete next year.

Well, PC....the Twins season has finally come to its merciful end. I see that the Twins set a new "record" in losing 103 games this year too. Looks like Molitor wasn't the magic-bullet for those two idiots, Hauv and FC, who were always blaming everything on "Fatty Gardenwhore" as they always liked to call him. Where did those two morons wind up when Fox went south. If they ever come around here, politely remind them of their stupidity for me. I always maintained, it was the Pohlad's who let this team slide down the shitter. You knew this too. All that tax-payers money for the new stadium, and this is the team they parade out there. It's a cryin'shame.:L

Comparing what Gardenhire did to what Molitor has done is foolish. Molly didn't have MVP's, Cy Young winners and Batting Champions to work with. Bottom line Gardy was a shit manager, I don't like what I've seen from Molitor so far but Walter Matthau was a better manager than Gardy.

With that said I agree Dozier needs to be moved for the best starting pitching we can get in return, I think they need to hang on to Santana until the deadline next year unless someone just gives them a crazy offer.

Good news, only two more years of Mauer's contract...

Disagree on Santana. With this club, I wouldn't chance an injury or a bad start to the season for him.

You can't go into the season with not one established starting pitcher on the team. Hughes is terrible, Duffey is terrible, Gibson is terrible and who knows what we get out of Berrios. If they trade him during the winter they aren't getting a top prospect it would be for a mid level prospect.

On a positive note they signed a top left handed bat in Jason Castro... So they went after him because of his ability to frame pitches, not so easy to do when the pitches are consistently missing the stroke zone by a foot, the pitches that are near the zone are usually hit over the fence or laced into the gap.

I think signing Castro gives us chance to win at least 60 games next year...I know I'm excited.

If they go into next season with the same group minus Plouffe and Castro the only significant addition they will lose 100 again no question...
