Everything is good, PC, and I hope it is the same for you! You popped into my mind a few days ago so I thought I'd better see how you and the other Twins fans on SportsHoopla are. Took me a while to find SportsHoopla but when you bookmark every freakin' site you read, like I do, the needle in the haystack can be found, eventually.

I see that Terry Ryan is gone. He did his best, but after the "cancer-business" he should have stayed retired and the Pohlad's should have had a succession plan in place to begin with. That Bill Smith fiasco really set the team back. Now I fear that the Pohlads will simply keep Antony(sp?) on as GM, rather than do a thorough GM search. Of course, if you don't really give a shit if you in or lose, so long as you are making money, why create the big ado of going through an exhaustive search? As you know, I have always maintained that the Pohlad's are "casual" baseball fans, but deep down inside they are fierce "money-changers", like their "Pappy" was. I wish they would just sell the team to some guys who want to compete for the hardware. Maybe "Baby Jesus" will buy the Twins when he licks that "Bi-Lateral leg-thing" he's got? Of course, he still has that "double-vision-thing" too. You can't have that and "do the financial books", as well. Maybe it's not as easy as I think it is.

Hate to say it, but the Twins are soooo far from contending, it's not even funny. They should consider trading Dozier this offseason, while his value is up, for some top flight pitching prospects.... Hate to see them suffer the same fate (again) they did with Plouffe.

True enough. We are not getting anywhere hanging on to these guys just to watch them decline and become worthless when we can jump on it and cash in. Also would be nice to see a guy like Dozier go somewhere he might actually have a chance at winning with.

I'm hoping for a full year of the Bonds level.

Or I'd love just once we sell high on a guy, get a kings ransom...have that player actually pitch good for us. And have dozier go back to .245 and 26.
