For the most part we bring back a good offense, hopefully our receivers will be better at catching the ball and we need the offensive line to improve, if so we have a very explosive offense.
The defense loses some key guys so it may not be as strong, hopefully the change in our secondary coach will allow us to not give up as many big plays next year, when our defense didn't give up big plays it actually was very good.
Overall it would be nice to only lose one game next year, and not have it be to any team from Utah, or perhaps finally defend well against the triple option.
Hopefully we can win the Mountain West and play a big name school in the Las Vegas bowl, we're kind of screwed in terms of the New Year's 6 with how good Houston is going to be next year, they have the best non-power 5 team since us and TCU's old teams a few years back. If we go undefeated maybe there's a shot we get in the Fiesta bowl, we did get an At-Large there before in 2009, so there's a chance!
Our schedule doesn't feature a headliner team like usual
but we do have two Pac-12 opponents in Oregon State and most notably what should be a pretty good Washington State team. We also have our usual BYU game, and I would really love to beat those Mormons this year.
Our other non-conference game is the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns, they had been on top of the Sun Belt for a while, but had a rough year this past year.
