Weigh in, measurements and 225 reps for OL:

2016 NFL Scouting Combine Results - Steelers Depot

Joshua Garnett, OG from Stanford, who would be a good fit for us checked off all the measurements. The one eyebrow raising one for me was Whitehair with only 16 reps. For a guy going in the first round in many mocks, that surprised me.

This really changes everything with Jaylon's draft status. I feel really badly for the kid. It would be interesting to have inside information from teams as to their doctors findings.

Thanks for the updates George!

If Jaylon can be fixed - he would be a good 7th round pick to IR for a year -and ready for 2017 - with 3 years of control on his contract.

Wow watching all these QB they all look great in shorts. Big , strong arm, can move. This is why evaluating QBs is so hard. What's between their ears is hard to judge.

Hackenberg looks like a pure stud in the highlight clips I saw.

Tight ends can't even catch the balls with no one covering them

From what I understand they found the nerves were stretched out during his injury and well nerves are a tough thing to judge. They don't heal like other parts of the body. that is why his time table to be ready is so hard to judge. I would still use one of our comp picks on the guy. The draft is such an unknown anyway might as well use our 4th round comp pick on a possible top-10 talent.

The DT crop is very deep.

I recognized Eric Studesville last night at the movies. It was funny every other person in line had Super Bowl swag on and here was the super bowl coach just being a dad nobody noticed him even though he had a nice leather NFL jacket on. I had my 11 year old son Nate ask him if he coached the Broncos and Nate's favorite player in college is Ezekiel Elliot. Studes said thanks and Elliot is def on their radar.

Love the story Chris - thanks. I also love hearing about you enjoying the game with your son. I have great memories with my Dad.

Even with that on his head, I still don't see him falling out of 2 nd rd. Could of been 1st pk in draft possibly. Denver could take him @ 63 in rd 2. They can afford to wait on him as long as they feel he has good shot at getting 100%. :noidea:
