We seem to be in the minority on picking him early. Chatter over here about 6th or 7th round would be more appropriate. I think Cooper is good enough- here is hoping that Derek Carr is good enough!

The way i see it, he is the number one there... And he plays in a division with mediocre defense... i also Really wanted latavius Murray!!! i just think the oakland offense actually has the weapons to be decent this season...

There's another way to see that too.

Yes he'll most likely be the #1 in Oakland. But that means thing is, he'll also be seeing most teams' top cover corner, as well as most double teams. Not saying he can't overcome that by any means, but it's asking an awful lot if a rookie WR right from day 1. Even studs like Evans, Watkins..ect, took quite awhile before they started beating that type of coverage. There's going to be quite a few weeks, especially early, where he disappoints.

I think that you are right. I had him ranked as the top rookie RB even with the 4-6 weeks he will miss.
And I was with Treff- I thought he would fall further based on the injury- all the way to my next pick.
