Figured it'd be tough to take two in Tampa. I'll take a 1-1 series coming back to Chicago for sure. Bad turnover by Cuminsky for one goal and bad goaltending on another. Other than that, it was a pretty decent game. All Chicago has to do now is defend home ice.
When he came back the first time, and they showed a closeup his eyes were watering and he was blinking a lot. I assumed he had a contact come out, and just put a new one in.
When he left the second time, I figured it was a bit worse. Maybe he got sick?
If it really was the diarrhea that forced him from the net, then stellar performance by the man for making it that long. We have all been there, can you imagine trying to get out of the goalie gear in time? So any reports of dehydration seemed to make sense since its the top cause for diarrhea. Still amazed at his determination to play at that level with that problem. I hate the hawks needing to beat teams I can actually like. Last year they had that goalie in Minnesota with the medical condition that you just want to cheer for.
Don't want to get into the argument about the goal as I am not clear on the rule's wording and I am not going to look it up. What caught my eye is the overhead replay, and how Hossa's stick sweeps under Bishop's pad and how Bishop's skate shows it side profile as its raised off the ice as he's going down in the butterfly...Having hurt my knee (ACL) and groin...I believe he was injured on that play...sometimes a lack of pain is worse in terms of the injury that you suffered... While it could be a groin pull, I am leaning to knee injury...possible a cartilage tear.
