Pisses me off to the point of wanting to bitch-slap Snead to where he doesn't know what day it is.

I agree SJ76. Snisher must be getting their cute mode over early. Last year it arrived in the form of Sam.

Remember the Eric Crouch project?

I do think both players could be good and have potential. But why the projects in the 3rd? I think they're drinking liquor during this shit.

They get "stupid weird" every year

Well, I don't really like how the rest of our division has drafted. I think the Rams have had the best, IMO. Only pick I don't like is Mannion.

I agree. Even though they reached on both third rounders, they didn't pick trash. Projects maybe that they could have selected later and picked a guy like Williams who had some off-the-field issues. As SJ76 has suggested, they went to their cute mode in the third.

Yeah the picks are not horrible. They have some positives.

The one thing we are drafting are leaders. Havenstein and Mannion had very good careers in college. I never even heard of Jamon Brown.

They like them some projects.

Apparently so SJ76. Gotta have some projects so we can coach. Sometimes I wonder. Either that, or somebody ordered beer and pizza and Snisher got hammered waaayyy too early.

I think with Boudreau, they're able to take projects because they trust what he can do with them. Brown is a good athlete if he's plugged inside at guard.

He's a big dude. Hopefully he can do it - he'll be facing NFC West front 7s.

I agree. They have such faith in Boudreau that they believe they can go after the players they want even though they are reaching. This has been their Achilles heel though. Instead of taking available talent, they reach with the players they want and miss the talent that is right there instead. This has been consistent over the years. But again, this is a comparative thing. These picks are not trash like it used to be before Snisher, but they have talent that can be molded when they could have even better talent.

I could envision an O-line from L-R of GRob, Saffold, Barnes/Jones, Brown, and Haverstein. Damn big and nasty that could very well be major smashmouth. Then figure in Hurley who is the first big RB we have taken in the first round since SJackson in 2004 and our offense has improved IMMENSELY.

By the way. Barksdale is now unemployed and I doubt seriously he'll be re-signed.
