These are the results of the mid major teams in my season preview thread. Pretend to be a member of the committee and decide with the resumes presented which mid major deserves the non-power 5 slot for the big bowls.

The poll will close a week from today

Boise. they would have wins over 2 other teams on that list, beating Fresno twice and losing to Ole Miss on the road and a good San Diego St team. Plus, and this does matter, the committee would lean towards Boise since they have proven they can win on the big stage against great teams. They would get the benefit of thee doubt.

Was going with Utah St until I saw they lost to Boise St.

Went with Boise St based on them having a conference championship and head-to-head over Utah St.

I'm still going with Utah State

They have a strong resume, with only one loss that was a late season upset to Boise State while the pressure was on, and do have that win over a power 5 school, which the only other contender with one is Bowling Green.

perhaps it's because my team cracked under that pressure despite having been there before so I sympathize with them.

I guess I'm the nice committee member.

I used 2 of the criteria that the committee themselves are saying they will put importance on.

Conference championship and head-to-head.
