Gresham will not be a Cardinal.

Gresham said UTSA is his first campus visit since a
Louisville assistant told him a few weeks ago that the Cardinals,
under Petrino, “couldn’t honor my commitment.”

... and might not become a Longhorn.

Gresham said he talked to Strong, the new coach of the Longhorns, a few days ago.

“He told me they have a few running backs committed and he thinks they might be (finished recruiting) at the running back position,” he said. “But he’ll let me know further details this week. So, we’ll see what happens.”

Asked if he thinks Strong might find a way to make him an offer, Gresham didn’t rule it out.

Would this guy play RB or FB for us? If RB, how do you think he compares to Catalon? Interesting to see both L'Ville and Texas losing interest in a Texas 4 star recruit.

Blue Chip CB aggie commit made a surprise official visit to Longhorns yesterday. Apparently this is now his 3rd visit to Austin but making this one official has some heads turning.

What a surprise grab this would be!

I envision Gresham as a FB. Strong is waiting on other commits. Gresham will probably be offered if a scholarship is available.
Would be nice to flip a commit from that former rival.

Alaka flipped to that other school. It seems Hoza Scott doesn't have the academics to get admitted ot that other school and his loss made room for Alaka.

Wow! I find that hard to believe. I know Mack and the "good ole boys" club are a little bitter, but to do something like this would be inexcusable. I would have to hear Mack's comments before I could pass judgment.

Joe Wickline(assumption) flips Colorado commit Elijah Rodriguez to Texas. He's 3* 6'6" 285# whose grandfather played for DKR and his mother attended UT.

Texas got a walk-on QB, Bram Kohlhausen. He was a 3* recruit when he signed with Houston and transferred to a JC when he was beat out for the QB job.

Looks like Max Wittek will transfer to Texas from USC.. Much needed QB depth

I just looked him up. All I could find was his announcement to transfer to another school. This might be a steal. It also mentioned that he would be eligible for the 2014 season. Did I read that wrong? I thought they had to sit out a season.

I think if he graduates, which he will, he can play right away. So, he will have 2 years of eligibility starting this year.
