If we lose to Houston, there's no way to get to 10 wins

@Tampa
Pitt
Cleveland
Denver

If we lose to Tampa, we really deserve to lose the rest of the games.

I think we split with Pittsburgh.

I think we can beat Cleveland in a rematch.... Particularly if they are starting to go downhill and Hoyer starts feeling pressure.

Denver...... There is absolutely no reason why we should beat them. But, if you're going to beat Peyton Manning, you'll need it to be cold. Maybe we'll get a nasty weather night and Manning will play like shit.

I haven't been drinking this morning, so don't ask.

I agree on Tampa, Pitt Split, and winning in Cleveland.

I don't think we're beating the Broncos, don't forget its on Monday Night Football.

So, the road to 10 wins begins in Houston

I think that's part of the story.... We win a MNF football game, Hobs goes fucking crazy writing about how the jinx was lifted, week 17 is flexed to SNF with the AFC-N on the line and Pittsburgh wins by 4 touchdowns as Ben throws for 7.

Suggested Hobsonisms for our MNF win.

Bengals buck broncos, trend.

Night time is (finally) the right time for Dalton.

Out of the 'dark' and into the playoffs.

based on power rankings: no bengals
winning %: bengals 3rd seed host ravens, shit their pants and lose
based on home field: pittsburgh passes denver to 2nd seed, ravens and bengals are out
based on offensive rank: no bengals, but pitt and ravens make it
based on defensive rank: no bengals, but pitt and ravens make it

no love for the browns, lol

so it looks like we need to win the games we're generally expected to win, plus either a win @hou or @pitt

we're screwed

Big win yesterday. I ran it last week and had us just missing. Now we are in:

1- NE 13-3
2- DEN 13-3
3- PITT 11-5
4- INDY 11-5
5- CIN 10-5-1
6- MIA 10-6

I have the Saints pulling it out against the Ravens tonight. If the Ravens win:

1- NE 13-3
2- DEN 13-3
3- PITT 11-5
4- INDY 11-5
5- BALT 11-5
6- CIN 10-5-1*

*We play Pitt for the 3rd time in 5 weeks.

Jesus I just realized I have the Chargers losing 5 straight: @BALT, NE, DEN, @SF, @KC. That is one hell of a way to end the season.

Bill Simmons (who is a horrible prognosticator) picked this in his mailbag last week..... He actually had them losing all their remaining games. When they were on the ropes yesterday I thought about it.

But seriously..... Which of those games does SD win? I thin their best chances are @BALT and their home game against Denver (they've played close games with Denver in the past). New England is rolling right now and I expect SF and KC to be fighting for playoffs/seeding.

main thing is we're not as bad as the team that got smoked by the Browns. Maybe we should work on the 2 min. drill. Bring Marvin and Dandy up to snuff.

He managed to make some good throws, but he's still a coward and some d-coords are figuring this out. He has some amazing receivers and he seems to at least be able to make a few plays for them. They need to stop coddling him. give some serious consideration to developing McCarron and make him realize that we will move on if he doesn't manage the game better.

I see us losing to the browns in cleveland, losing in pitt, and losing to Denver

all the others we win.

If we can turn just one of those games around, win at home vs pitt and win against tb, then we're good to go.

We have to win at home vs Pitt, because there's no way with the season on the line we're winning in Pittsburgh on the last day of the season.

Didn't we go there a year or two ago and knock them out of the playoffs?
