Way to go out on a limb there RA. A long pass over the middle is something you never see in a game anymore. Particularly when a team is way behind and is throwing on every down like NW will be this week.

When I was at the 2012 Northwestern I puckered up on every punt, both Northwestern's and Nebraska's.

Last year I felt better when I saw Foltz punting and realized he was only a freshman. Then, all of a sudden, he would start shanking punts.

Now, in 2014, there is De'mornay Pierson El,(thank god!!!), and Foltz is punting sort of well. In 2014, Nebraska is 24th in net punting.

In 2014, Northwestern, their punting special team is not good. That means the Nebraska defense needs to do a quite a few three and outs.

I've said it numerous times. It's a Pelini trademark and it's why he'll likely never be an elite coach. He can't put all the pieces together. He can't get them lined up properly. You don't recognize the team in big games.

If by year 7 he hasn't learned how not to "over-coach" a team, I doubt he ever will.

He fucks his own mind when developing a game plan. Probably goes full circle 4 or 5 times. At that point the team doesn't know where they are.

Cotton falling on his ass was ridiculous and everything.

The reason he fell wasn't that he just lost his balance standing there though. He actually false starts and the refs don't see it. He flinches backwards, moving his weight and momentum to his heels.....and since they didn't blow the whistle he tried to just hold on hoping that Tommy would snap the ball before he moved any further. He couldn't hold on though, and he ended up looking like an idiot.
