I think some of the talk has gone down just because very few of us know much about any of these prospects. I actually spend almost more time researching these guys than I do the 1st round guys as I figure they are the ones that will be talked about up and down so everybody does the research for me. These late round guys though in trying to find game tape on them is a fun challenge for me.

Definitely… I'm still surprised that there is 2nd & 3rd round talent available! A lot easier to find game tape on them.

Yeah funny thing to me right now is looking at all the different big boards out there and just seeing how they rank players. There are guys in one that are 2nd round in talent where on another they are 6th round talent. The age old saying of two people can look at the same thing and see two completely different things rings true for the draft.

Some of the big boards out there haven't been updated since the bowl games or senior bowl. After the combine is when the boards will become more accurate for the mid to later round guys.

Yea this was discussed in our war room. Not likely that this mock is going to be very accurate, definitely not for the later rounds.

The only thing I ever look at ESPN for is their fantasy football projections…

Ive just been using CBS and Walterfootball and watching a lot of film on Draft Breakdown. I think Exum is worth taking a risk on at this point. He might never play a down in football but he was an elite talent before he went down

Those are 3 main ones that I use as well. I also have a guys that I respect a ton that aren't your main stream media guys when it comes to sports but I trust them quite a bit when it comes to player evaluations that I follow their big boards as well.

There are a couple of the analyst on NFL.com that I look at their big boards and at least see how they compare but some of their analyst I really have to question if they actually watched in college football as they seem to produce very similar lists to those of ESPN and what they have to say on some of the players just makes no sense at all. Like I said there are a few gems among the rubble.

Yup. Could be a Derrick Rose circa 2014, too, but he was legit when he was playing. I figured it was better to take him than going after a rotation RB or TE

Hard to argue there! Exum was a player I was looking at this round.
