You know if I run these in the future it would make it alot easier if I had everyones number so I could text you when you were on the clock...

Wouldn't it just be easier to have a draft twitter account which everyone could follow & get instant updates on picks & who is on the clock status? I think that is easier than texting each person when they are on the clock.

As to the picks as they happen, is this the place to comment on them or is there another thread?

Clowney was the best bet for elite talent in this draft. If Houston can't trade down, that is who I think they take.

I can't imagine putting Clowney beside JJ Watt. The best interior pass rusher in this draft just got one of the best pass rushing prospects I can remember.

Andrew Luck may not live having to face those two twice a year.

I don't do twitter. It's a waste of time because I don't care about when people are taking a piss.

I would have to think that if Texas didn't have the confines of our draft rules to deal with, the GM could have traded back to #3 and still grabbed Clowney.

My guess for the next 3 picks are Matthews, Bortles, & Manziel.

I don't do twitter. It's a waste of time because I don't care about when people are taking a piss.

I only follow beat writers for the teams I follow & PFT/MLBtraderumors. It makes it easier than constantly checking for articles or news. It takes like 1 minute to set up an account. Otherwise, twitter is useless.

I don't see anybody trading up to #1 in this draft for a QB. There are too many QBs with the same questions and potential in this draft. None of these QBs are the level of Luck, RG3, and Newton.

Just a heads up, I don't want to make a trade yet because I have a few guys I am interested in drafting at 14, but if they are taken today, I am more than willing to trade pick #14, preferably to move to the 22-28 range and picking up a second round.

I'll post in here later today if my guys are taken and the pick is in play.

While that is true, there are some pretty desperate teams in need of a QB or someone who can be marketed(Manziel). Both the Jags & Browns come to mind. Just dropping 2-3 spots could be done with like a 3rd in 2014 & 15. Seeing as the Browns have multiple 3rd round choices this season, I definitely see that as a possibility.

I think there are few GM(s) in the same boat. Sitting at #20, I have to wait to what develops.

New England Patriots 1.29 to Dallas Cowboys for 2.15 & 3.14

I like this trade for the Patriots. It's a typical move for both teams.

Although if the draft goes like this unless there is a trade we would know that St. Louis isn't going to take a quarterback so that leaves Jacksonville taking who they think is the best quarterback of the bunch. Cleveland then would have their choice of the final 2 so I think they could sit and wait if they really wanted to. Again that is if Houston would actually decide to go Clowney. I could see them deciding to trade with St. Louis just so they can get their pick of who they want but I don't think that would cost too much at this point.

The Browns trading for either the #1 or #2 picks wouldn't surprise me. Again it wouldn't cost that much to so & they have the additional mid round picks to get it done. After the recent news of Jimmy Haslam firing both the CEO & GM along with his statement that he wants to put a team on the field that the fans can be proud of, I see them doing just about anything.

Let me guess, they want either Watkins or a QB with the #2 pick? There are a lot of Bradford haters in that fanbase. I guess we will see shortly.
