If its time to pick - Everything I am seeing is saying the Pats need either TE or WR. So, I was surprised that they went DT with first pick.

Highest rated player looks to be Richard Rogers, TE, California (ranked 55th). If they go WR, it is Jared Abbrederis, WR, Wisconsin (ranked 68th).

We might as well shut this down right now if we are just going to start picking for every team that misses their pick because it's probably going to happen alot today.

I say we give it a bit. We have a number of teams still here ready to pick. I think the TE for Pats is almost a no brainer. He is an ex-wide receiver. After the Gronk and Hernandez debacle, the Pats would love a 6'5 pass catching TE late in the 2nd Round.

Let's at the very least get to the 3rd Round today.

Also as annoying as it is, looking ahead to the Bears (picking in 35 minutes) - there is not a Bears board out there that doesn't mention DT as the major need. They were dead last in the NFL vs the run. Every single mock draft has them taking DT in one of the top rounds.

They took CB with first pick.

I've actually come up with a pretty cool draft game we could play after this, it would take either 4 people or 8 people, we would need diehards who we know would never miss a pick but it might be kinda fun...

I like the idea of having no clock on the weekends but if you are available to make your pick then feel free to do so....look at it as a bonus. most of us have hectic schedules especially on the weekend so that would work out well. During the week you should be able to find time to post your pick if there's a scheduled time or you shouldn't be doing this. The problem with letting someone pick later on is that it's unrealistic no team picks ten picks late haha!

Either way this is interesting and good idea...will be neat to see how it changes after FA.

I agree I dont like waiting to make a pick for a team either, it just goes to show how freakin important leaving a list is. The big problem with picking for a team is when that GM shows up he/she loses interest because now he/she hasnt made all the picks and they disappear.

Ive done 6 of these now and 4 of them have run out of gas around the end of the 2nd round. I wouldn't be against people just grabbing 3 teams and knocking this off in a couple of days.

Since it seems New England's not gonna take an LB anyways, give the Bears Chris Borland-MLB-Wisconsin whenever you decide I am on the clock. He's a special player in the JJ Watt-Russell Wilson mode. Maybe I'm a homer, but it boggles my mind to see some of the players picked ahead of him.

Perfect. You guys ok with picking Richard Rogers, TE for the Pats? Its a no brainer, imo.

Then Smart - go ahead and post your pick for MLB.

In actuality we've only missed a couple picks now I think.

If Seattle doesn't show, why don't we pick them either a WR or TE. They went OG in first round and need WR/TE according to all the boards.

I'll PM SonnyCID. If he doesn't make the pick, I will.
