2014 Mock Draft Discussion Thread

Panthers went OT in first round. Next on their needs list would either be WR or DB. I say we pick the highest rated player left out of those 2 categories.

According to Walter, highest rated player for Panthers would be:

1) Dion Bailey, S, USC, or
2) EJ Gaines, CB, Missouri

I'm not sure which safety they need - but Bailey is the higher rated of the two.

Damn I would think both WR n CB would be more than OT for Panthers... IF I were Panthers, I would go CB... I know their defense, like 49ers, were at a need at CB... safety too I believe actually.

Did some research - looks like Panthers are looking more towards SS. Bailey was a FS/OLB hybrid, so I don't think that's the right fit.

EJ Gaines seems like a sensible pick. I would say in draft after combine if somebody missed their pick they just keep getting pushed down the list like the actual nfl does. We all have the ability to leave lists with you so shouldn't miss any of our picks

Again, how important is it to leave a list? I think when we do the after combine mock we should have the rule if you miss your pick and dont leave a list your team is given to someone else. I believe we will be able to find more people who wanna do this after the combine, I have had multiple PM's from people asking how to play and if they can take part in the next one.

In all the years i've been doing these Saturday always sucks. There are always so many missed picks. Maybe in the after combine mock we wont have a clock on the weekend, if people are around and draft thats fine but only have a clock during the week.
