There is definitely a large gap between your opinion and everyone else's. I think DB might be the deepest position in the draft other than WR.

We don't know how this will come out in the wash, but we had 5 CBs on our board after we picked @15 and only 2 were taken when our turn came around again @ 46.

Agreed on both counts

Honestly its difficult to grade some of the DBs without combine numbers

Hasn't Baltimore's time passed? What did we decide happens when they don't pick?

Is Ray Rice done or was last year a fluke?

I'd say he is done. His numbers have been in decline for a bit if I remember right

The New York Jets are OTC, when gkekoa comes on he can pick for the Ravens.

Oh...idk about done...he's been nicked up a little more lately, but imo still a good back if you can keep his touches around 200 or per yr. The past season year I think teams stacked (at least in the DIV games) the box a lot more and Flacco and his WR/TEs were not all on the same page.

I was under the assumption that it was an oline issue on top of being an injury issue to the weapons on the outside. Ray Rice still appears to be the focal point of their offense so Id imagine getting him back on track will be the focal point of their draft

Yea...BAL had probably the same or worse OL problems than PIT did...that in combination with the passing game suffering Rice's production suffered...but they have another RB...Pierce I think, who is actually a good back up.

I think they need to get Pitta back in good health @ TE and the 2nd yr with the WRs should help, but they still need to be looking @ a WR in this draft imo.

You would think, but the truth of the matter is the Ravens played against 6 men in the box more often than 8.

I did have a trade proposal in to glekoa that is an even trade so he doesn't lose any value plus gets extra picks

It was too much $$$ to put in Flacco... give Flacco weapons and he'll do fine but no weapons he can't win them.... (and yes, it was too much to invest IMO however flacco had the damn luck of having the credentials or resume to back it up...esp after SB win)

The Oline was supposed to be strength and ended up being a trainwreck. Needs to be priority #1 this offseason.

Pierce is a much better fit under Kubiak than Rice. If he can stay healthy (big question mark), he will have a good year. I expect Rice to rebound some this year, but it's clear his best days are behind him. I'm pretty sure he led the league in percentage of carries where he went down at first contact. That was obviously very unlike him and painful to watch.

Ok, just took a quick look at football outsiders. Its the offensive line. 31st in short yardage, 32nd in tackles behind LOS, 32nd in 2nd level runs and 32nd in open field/big runs. The only part of their oline they had ANY success with was running behind their RT

It might be the running backs, too. Ive never seen running stats so bad for both RBs

It's a bit of a reach...but without a trade down (not as far as Denver), put the Ravens down for Travis Swanson. With this pick, they fill their two biggest needs in the first two rounds.

Figured I'd put my two pennies in as a Ravens' fan.

We seemed to have hit a slow point in the drafting process...
