If he was projected as a LT, I would have had him on my board and likely would have picked him had he got to me. But with Jonathan Cooper being the LG for next 5 years, I took him off my board completely.
Last year's G class was silly good. Cooper can play Center, too, right?

Still entertaining those trade offers... I have it narrowed down to two guys, but I'd rather move back and hope to get one later.

Someone must want to move up, right?

Doesn't seem like it. Couldn't get anybody interested in trading with me.

Not sure if Cooper can play center. We have a good center in Lyle Sendlein. He has been here since he was drafted in 07 & is only 30, so he still has more than a few years of quality play left in him.

Yeah it's a tough trade market. If you didn't arrange a trade early, chances are that you won't find a willing partner.

I think the problem with the trade market is that guys like Kiper and McShay are really low on guys that can play so people think they will last till rd 2 and so they wont take the risk. Nos thinking Martin would last till rd 2 is a great example

No worries. Like I said, I have two guys lined up- one is a bit of a reach, and I'm surprised the other hasn't been picked yet...

Well I'm happy with my pick. A lot of mocks lately don't have Martin making it past #12 to the Giants.

To me this draft there are a bunch of guys that all could go anywhere from 20-40. It just doesn't seem worth it for these picks to be trading up and losing draft picks when you can get someone of equal value 10-15 picks later. Now this is just my opinion and there are still guys I have rated very high that I am surprised are still available but that is the way drafts go.

Yep Martins a no brainer for the Fins...I'd be happy with the pick.

Arizona selected: Stephon Tuitt, DE/DT, Notre Dame

I had him rated as the #1 3-4 DE. I had another guy a close 2nd. With Dockett likely playing his last season for the Cardinals, I couldn't pass up pairing a very good 6'6" DE with the 6'8" Campbell.
