Mount Union is thanking him for moving on as well....

Probably. He said he'll continue coaching throughout the rest of playoffs, but I have to imagine it's mostly going to fall on assistant coaches as he'll be busy getting a staff together and keep recruits committed at Buffalo.

107-6 is damn impressive, it'll be nice if that can convert from DIII to Buffalo.

Any sort of consistent winning team in this city is needed

You fellers are aware that Bohl was the defensive cordnator under frank solich before he took over at SDSU. If Bohl was the badass everyone thinks he is why was Wyoming the biggest school to come calling.

I think it will be Tressel and frost maybe muschamp

NDSU

Bohl was DC when Colorado hung 62 on the 2001 Huskers.

Tressel to Michigan would be epic. And I guarantee you Tressel would re-own the B1G again if that happened. He would run Urban out of town. With equal talent, Tressel would win. Urban was WAAAAY more loaded at UF than Tressel was at OSU. The only difference between the 2 so far at OSU is that Tressel was winning championships...something Urban has yet to do, and may not even do this year. :pound:

Weis. What an interesting, if fat, phenomena.

How in the heLL does he keep getting people to pay him millions of dollars?

We've already replaced Chad Morris. Announcement today that our RB coach, Tony Elliot, and our WR coach, Jeff Scott, will be co-offensive coordinators.

Florida screwed that up royally. You have like a 1-2 week search and you grab that guy?? I guess Foley didnt want to break a sweat.

I think he'll be a great hire wherever he ends up.

It end up being a good hire, but you have to question the process. Seems to me that they rushed into a decision. I am more hammering how they handled this. In a job of this magnitude you generally hear about 5 names, unless a big time coach is hired. Sounds like they did 1 interview and closed it down. If it doesnt work out, Foley should be fired.

You have to wonder about waiting around too long though. There are some big name schools looking for coaches and if you ponder for too long, you miss out. I thought Neb and Mich would have already had their coached picked before firing the current coach.

Recruiting season is well underway and there will need to be some damage control for commits by the new coach. Fla at least had the luxury of having an extra week to find their guy.
