What a great marketing ploy. Mom and or wife want to see Rod, but the guy goes because Santana will be there... Well done.

And I heard ZZ Top is playing with Jeff Beck this summer.

ZZ Top isn't worth the money... I saw them a few summers ago and they played 8-10 songs total then left. I paid $80/ticket... Their warmup band didn't make the show so it was one of the shortest concerts that I've ever been to. On top of that, they didn't even come out for an encore even though the entire crowd stayed for 20 mins after they left chanting for them to come back out. A lot of people were calling about refunds from what I heard.

My parents saw the Stones 2 or so years ago and paid over $500/ticket. They said they would do it again... So it must have been a pretty good show.

I saw Aerosmith 10+ years ago in their prime. They put on one hell of a show! My parents & I skipped my brother's high school graduation ceremony to attend. lol Doubt they would wow anyone nowadays though.

The Cure - BottleRock - Napa, CA - May 30th


Hoping they make it to Los Angeles while in California for this show. Not that I'm that old, but I don't care for long music fests anymore. The Cure is of course headlining the first night.


If you are a fan and haven't seen them, they put on fabulous shows. They routinely play 2-3 hour shows playing tons of songs. Robert sounds awesome still too.

Odd. I saw them at the Marcus Ampitheater and thought they were pretty good. Of course, that was 3 years ago.
