Tennessee basketball recruiting target Ebuka Izundu enjoyed his official visit with the Vols last weekend, but the four-star power forward plans to take three more official visits before deciding where he will play, according to his high school coach.

Victory Christian Center School (Charlotte, N.C.) coach Aureice McCain told the News Sentinel on Wednesday that Izundu will visit Miami this weekend and Arkansas next weekend before taking his final official visit to Texas Tech. Izundu has already taken official visits to Cincinnati and Tennessee.

Hope he comes here, we really don't have any big men on the roster. Not even sure that we have a true center..

Rick Barnes: Sky is limit for Kyle Alexander - GoVolsXtra Story

Kyle Alexander didn't start playing basketball competitively until high school, but Tennessee coach Rick Barnes has high expectations for his newest Canadian signee.

"We are really excited about welcoming Kyle into our program, because he truly has incredible upside," Barnes said in a UT release on Saturday. "He's only been playing basketball for about two and a half years, but it's clear the sky is the limit in terms of his potential. I love his demeanor on the court and the way he runs the floor.

"He's a great kid from a wonderful family, and my staff and I have been following his development for a while now."

UT announced the addition of Alexander, a 6-foot-10, 200-pound forward out of Ontario's Orangeville Prep, after he signed a National Letter of Intent on Friday. The three-star prospect from Milton, Ontario, committed to the Vols on Thursday. He plans to enroll at UT in June and will have four years of college eligibility.

Alexander's addition marks the first time the Vols will have two Canadians on the roster. Alexander joins incoming signee Ray Kasongo, a junior college transfer (College of Southern Idaho) originally from Toronto. UT has had just one letterman from Canada in program history. Bobby Croft of Hamilton, Ontario, played from 1967-70 and was a first-team All-SEC selection as a senior.

Alexander is the fifth addition to UT's incoming 2015 class, joining Kasongo, guard Shembari Phillips and forward Admiral Schofield. Point guard commit Lamonte' Turner has not yet signed his letter of intent.

One scholarship remains for the 2015 class, unless more roster defections occur. Forwards Tariq Owens and Willie Carmichael have transferred since Barnes replaced fired coach Donnie Tyndall on March 31.
