With the 87th overall pick, the Seattle Seahawks select:

Chase Thomas, OLB, Stanford

He lacks top end speed, but other than that I think he is a great prospect. He has a tremendous motor, the ability to thrive in the 3-4 and 4-3 (Seattle switches up between them), he is very good in coverage, and a great tackler. He might lack the athleticism of some guys above him, but very few are more solid.

To me the Packers biggest needs are OG & RB not sure who is the best fit for them.

Yeah, they do need a running back. Looks like Andre Ellington is the top-ranked one left, though he never impressed me much at Clemson. Scouts seem to like him, however.

As far as OG goes, looks like Alvin Bailey, OG, Arkansas might be a good pick there. He's projected 3-4.

Like they need him. God, that defense is scary.

Got it. I guess you bought in to that Bama hype after all. :boink:

His versatility is extremely valuable. Fits what SD is doing. He is not the ideal pick for me. He's actually bottom of the draftable barrel in terms of early rounds.

Won the Outland in 2011 (best OT in country)

Then moved inside and won the Rimington in 2012 (Best Center in country)

Still he's a gamble. No team ever got good by playing it safe in the draft.

If I'd have known that vulcher LOC would swoop in and take UNC's picks I'd have just accepted his offer immediately.

since odds are quite strong that the Steelers might end up with NE's pick @ 91 when this Sanders RFA tender is sorted out,

can we at least agree committee wise on a player that both teams might value/need
?
