What do you find hard to believe.....

A) That we will find a stretch-the-field receiver in the first round

B) That Gresham will make them pay.

We have almost a 4% shot at either of those happening, so I'm feeling pretty confident.

Who-Dey!

If we take a WR in the first I might fly to Cincy and slap Marvin Lewis right in the face.

You're a big believer in Marvin Jones?

I am for making this team better.

The defense was ranked #6 last year, and while I expect a little drop off from last year to this year, 10-12, our biggest weakness besides running the ball was getting AJ Green open. If you have a legit threat opposite him, then you have to pick and choose the moments you double AJ instead of blanketing him.

If you free Green up more, the offense becomes better, and hopefully that means our 3rd down conversion rate also improves.

Of all the positions that need upgraded the most, #2 deep threat is right up there among top 3 areas of need.

If you are drafting best available, then that very well could be WR at that point in the first, if nothing else is better than 2-4 round picks for the other positions.

Best available and WR being a top 3 need of this team, it could be that pick. Just saying.

I'm a believer in the fact that Dalton can't throw the deep ball, so wasting a 1st rounder on a WR is a total waste. Only WR worth the 21st pick is Patterson. I'd kick Marv directly in the nuts.

And yeah I think Jones will be good, but if we took Woods of Hopkins in the 2nd I'd be ok with it. Most of the WR's I really like are late 2nd/3rd round guys. This draft has a shit ton of depth at WR. No reason to waste a 1st rounder when the late 2nd/3rd/4th round guys really aren't all that far behind him in talent.
