That stretch was pure draft hell for me emotionally. One of the worst stretches I can remember.

Texans - Swearinger
Broncos - Ball
Patriots - Dobson
Falcons - Alford
Packers - Lacey

5 of my favorite players that were available.

Slay to the Lions, Short to the Panthers, Hankins to the Giants, and Collins to the Patriots were other bad to nightmarish scenarios, too. Too many contenders got way better as far as one man additions go in that round. Horrible.

It's not that I wanted Lacy but a one dimensional packer team is a whole lot easier to beat with a threat like Lacy teams will actually have to respect the run game.

That's assuming Lacy is as good as everyone thinks. I mean he only ran behind the best Offensive line in College Football, and offensive line that apparently would rank above some NFL teams with how this draft is going.

I mean don't forget Mark Ingram looked like a beast coming out of Alabama and yet he can't even win the starting job for the Saints.

Bh the way, NFL.com's draft tracker hasn't worked a single time I've clicked on the link. Yet another example of how the NFL does a terrible job running their website.

Are you kidding me? Larry Warford to the Lions. There's another scary, scary pick. He could develop into a special guard, too. Wow this stretch is absolutely brutal! I'm having a hard time remembering a more draining stretch in a draft.

So after throwing a beer bottle through the wall because of Hunt I've come to terms with the pick.

I don't get the Lacey infatuation. I don't view him as the explosive type back that can really be a difference maker. He'll grind out yardage and be able to handle a heavy workload but he isn't a game changer IMO. McDonald has serious size and athleticism, just saying.

I have to keep reminding myself the Niners stole Carradine at 40 so I don't kick the chair out from under my feet.

I am hoping the 9ers draft in the 3rd one of the following:
John Jenkins
Jessie Williams
Stepfan Taylor
Barret Jones
Bacarri Rambo

Carradine has been reported to have knee problems like Bowers. I'd wait before I loved the pick.

Are there safeties still out there that fit our scheme and would complement Reid? I honestly haven't seen most of them play.

And it continues with another favorite of mine. Sio Moore to the Raiders. Only the Raiders aren't contenders obviously. Whoa!

I think Jesse Williams would be a good pick to replace Soap. Wouldn't mind Rambo either. There's still a lot of value out of there. This is a really deep draft in this range.

I'm loving it until he proves otherwise. A torn ACL isn't a career ender any more.

I haven't heard anything about a degenerate knee issue; just heard he isn't 100% yet.

I wish I was AS excited as you about Carradine. He was on my list as many saw, but it wasn't a backflips type of pick for me that a few others would've been.

Bennie Logan to the Eagles. As many saw this afternoon, some projected the 49ers would take him. The Eagles WERE another team that were reportedly connected to him, too.

I've read it on a few different twitters and 1 website. I hope it isn't true for you all.

I think Carradine can have a big impact later on this season if we used him like we did Aldon's rookie season.

And if he develops like a top 15 pass rushing talent we could have a monstrous pass rush

Yes. Rambo at FS, ballhawk. Did Phillip Thomas get drafted? He is another one.
