Oh, dear Lord. Dobson could develop into a HELL of a receiver in that NE offense. THat's one of my least favorite picks made so far.

Aaron Dobson for NE, man Keenan Allen must be very low on people's board.

And I fully expect Roman to design some interesting things for McDonald as long as he can handle it mentally. He'll be some kind of option when the 49ers run some/a lot of their option stuff.

After watching the tape on McDonald it looks like he drops the easy ones and catches the tough ones.

Alford was ANOTHER one of my favorite CBs this year. Dang. Too many contenders adding some nice names.

How fitting. Robert Alford had the honor to have Deion Sanders, another corner, announce his name to the NFL.

I was hoping for a big TE, and he's one of the bigger ones. 6'4 267 is pretty big. Let's hope all that upper body strength turns into good blocking. And he has long arms & a good vertical (not amazing 33.5 inches, but a good one).

Pozz, when is our next pick? I thought I had read that we didn't in fact trade the 74th pick and ESPN still has us picking there.

Earlier today I was explaining how being in our offense is heaven for any #2 TE. One, because of the system - unique play calls you're referring to. Two, because of Vernon Davis' presence. Pick your poison, I think if everything I read on Vance is accurate, he will be a "very good" #2 TE in our team. I like the fact that he is taller than Delanie. His catching radius is enticing.

This guy will be a major project. Must see something in him they really like. Maybe they did this just to piss of Seattle or something.

I'm really concerned about his hands though. I really wanted a TE who could move the chains consistently, not one who is fighting the ball constantly.

Vernon Davis can now pass the jug machine torch down the line.
