I enjoy a good cigar too .. but it isnt warm enough outside to smoke a stogie right now .. I dont smoke in the house

I like stogies all year round. But when it's just too damn cold out I have to say eff it. Usually smoke out in my garage/bar. Can always fire up the heater if I need.

I was hoping by now I would be hanging outside again without having to even thing about turning the heater on but we just can't seem to shake this damn cold. At least the snow is steadily melting which could help with the flood.

you guys getting a puppy?

Probably not for a long time if we ever do again. We had to give up our dog of over two years to a foster home at the end of February. One of the hardest things I've had to do but we can't have a 75 lb dog nipping at baby.

She's a Golden lab/Border Collie mix. Very high strung and hyper. The whole thing was pretty hard for us so I think we're going to take a little break from dogs for now. But yeah, probably thinking something not so big next time. We got her as a pup from a farm and we were hoping she would only get to be around 50 lbs or so but she just kept growing.. lol

full bread collies are big dogs .. I love em .. collies were always my favorite breed

we have a boarder collie .. she is well mannered and great with the kids... she protects them and they can lay on her and she doesn't care .. but the urge for her to heard is so bread (they were bread with wolfs) into the breed that is why boarder collies are one of the most abused breeds they heard by nipping at your heals they dont break the skin but people see this as the dog is aggressive and beat the piss out of the animal to try to tame it ...we did have to teach the kids what to do when she is trying to heard them .. ya just have to stop running and pet her and all is well ...

Yeah, it definitely takes some time. We spent a lot of time with her training, taking classes, going for walks and playing fetch but we just don't have the same amount of time to devote to her now with the baby. I'm sure she will be happy somewhere else where she can be given the attention she needs. She's too good of a dog not to. I taught her sit, down, play dead, roll over, shake and she definitely knows the bathroom is outside. We miss her but what can ya do.
