Hoping Evans slams this one like a meteor thru the Russian sky.

Hahaha, Evans in the final. Yawn, though. Fighting to stay awake during this show.

Aw, why'd'you gotta be objective?

I thought the one over Mark Eaton was as good as any of the 50s... not a 50, but as good as any of those. I think the double dunk was boring, but as good as any other tonight. I think if you don't get it in 1:30, you shouldn't get that one more time. Plus, the clock should never stop. And if you don't make it, you get zero - yes, it would make a person not try the hardest dunk if they were running out of time, but tough. They need to make it.

One of the most exciting dunkers that I was captivated by in high school was Shawn Kemp.

I've got two things that i would like to see changed for the dunk contest...

You can't grade the dunk contest effectively on the 6-10 scale. They didn't do dunks that have never been done, and they got 50s. What if after Green got a 50 James White went through the legs from the FT line? There is no way that they wouldve deserved the same grade. At least if you use a 1-10 scale you have room for improvements and you have a better grading system. Also, had Gerald Green completed the 2nd dunk he tried I wouldve been extremely impressed.

Second, if you miss a dunk you get to try again, but if you make a dunk you dont get to try again. I know it happened with Josh Smith in 2006, and maybe James White tonight, and probably some other contests in between. Josh Smith tried a FT line dunk and went a step too close to the basket, and James White went from a little closer tonight. They should be allowed to try to jump from further if they want.

I told my dad this tonight when watching. You should have the choice to redo a dunk that you make so long as you have time and once you choose to, you lose the previous make. And it has to be the same dunk. You can't save one and then try a harder one or the same one and miss. You have to risk something if you try to redunk it.

I liked:

* All of Ross' dunks except for the 2nd one in the 1st round.
* Evans' dunks
* The 2nd Faried dunk in the 1st round.

Ross' second dunk in the first round was just him guaranteeing himself a spot in the second round because Green and White both missed. I wasn't a fan of Evans last dunk. Faried's second dunk was sick, and he made it look easy.

I really wish Green wouldve pulled off his second dunk on the first try because it wouldve been one of the best in recent years.

Man, people keep missing easy baskets, it's a good thing someone is there to dunk the misses. Some are not even close. ;)

Surprised they didn't add the Kobe block of LeBron. I mean, that was Kobe's highlight of the season. This was Kobe's playoff game! ;)
