2013 49ers Guess your Stat Game:

I use to run this game on the CBS board. Its a fun game to play during the season. Here are some rules. Let me know who wants in. I keep track of the scores and post up the standings.

Rules: U cant change your stats when u submit them. the latest you can submit is 5 min before kick off of each week. If you submit late and its with in 8 min of kick off I will count it but subtract -2 pts. I will show an example of how the game will be played. 1 other rule you miss 2 weeks in a row I stop recording your stats. Unless u let me know u will miss 2 weeks. I will keep standings all year. Its a fun little game.

I might be game also is it a running tally of points or is it every game their is a winner and who wins the most games during the season is season champ?

U will have a weekly winner but their is an overall winner. Weekly winner gets a extra point.

Just my two cents: if you want participation, maybe you don't need a running tally or if you do, still let others participate in any given week and recognize their win (they just can't win the season if they don't play enough).

I may be wrong, but I haven't got a feel that this board is one of those boards who participate in these types of things. People would likely participate sometimes, but to rely on most or every weeks, I don't know.

If there is a weekly winner who gets 1 point for winning that is increased to 2 if played they previous week (not counting Game 1) that would incentivize it. I just don't feel it. Perhaps we got enough ESPN/CBS guys to start this?
