All right, guys, let's play NFL Playoffs Pick 'Em!

The bracket image below is from Wikipedia, modified to name the bracket spots. Please read over and understand the NFL bracket slotting rules described in the bottom of the image! This means, for example, that #6 seeds can NEVER be in spots (A) or (C). If you mess up your brackets because you don't understand how the bracket slots work, it will be on you! I will score the brackets per the way you fill them out; if you picked the right teams but assigned them to the wrong bracket slots, then you will NOT get points for those slots!

Do NOT discuss yours or other people's brackets in this thread, which will only be bracket submission. If you want to discuss yours or other people's brackets, use this thread instead.

Please adhere to the prescribed format, as it helps entry into the spreadsheet. Fill out the bracket below by copying-and-pasting the following:

(A) Higher-Seeded NFC Wildcard Winner (1 pt)
(B) Lower-Seeded NFC Wildcard Winner (1 pt)
(C) Higher-Seeded AFC Wildcard Winner (1 pt)
(D) Lower-Seeded AFC Wildcard Winner (1 pt)
(E) Lower-Seeded NFC Divisional Winner (2 pts)

The over/under will only be used, if necessary, as a tiebreaker.

Deadline: You have up until the first wildcard game starts to submit your bracket.

The reason the first two posts in this thread seem contradictory (the first post says this is the discussion thread, while the second post says this is the brackets thread and not to discuss in this thread) is that I originally created two threads, one for posting brackets and one for discussion.

I did this because for the same reason that in the College Football forum, the threads for posting the weekly SportsHoopla polls (such as this one) and discussing the weekly SportsHoopla polls (such as this one) are separate, to keep posted brackets/polls from getting cluttered by discussion.

But shortly after I created these two threads, a mod merged them.

Look again; it's correct.

The #6 seeds are New Orleans for the NFC and San Diego for the AFC. The way the rules for the NFL playoffs work, it is impossible for either to end up in slot (A) or slot (C).

The example bracket shows #3 seed Cincinnati in slot (C), which is perfectly possible under the NFL playoff rules. It's impossible for #6 seed San Diego to end up in slot (C), but it is possible for #3 seed Cincinnati to end up there.
