"I asked if he had any idea an LSU was coming in the last few weeks.

"It caught me off guard, they haven't talked to me since I missed the camp [this past summer]," Jones said. "For it to come out of the blue, out of nowhere, it was surprising. I didn't know what to think about it afterwards. I was kind of shocked. So I told my mom and dad and we had to figure out what was going on."

Then I asked Jones if LSU was recruiting him at linebacker like Nebraska and he said yes. He admitted that he was planning to visit LSU officially, but he and his family "don't know when." "

The interesting answer he gave me was when I asked what the chances were that he'd switch to LSU.

"Chances are slim to none right now," Jones said. "I feel real comfortable with Nebraska and I've been watching them a lot. I felt real comfortable after the visit."

I respect it if he wants to switch, but he has to know he's gonna be a little fish in a big pond down there. If he likes getting on the field, he needs to come here.

Iese is a physical freak. Reminds me of Kyler Reed, just bigger. Same kind of athleticism though.
