2012 Draft - The One That Went Wrong

Here's a good article about the 2012 draft. It was disastrous for the Niners and a great one for the Seahawks.
I think this is where the tide turned to the Seahawks favor.

Horrible draft. I guess everyone has a stinker at some point but the team absolutely cannot afford any more. I could never understand the LMJ pick since the team already had Kendall Hunter who really is another change of pace back. Don't need two of those on the roster.

I still remember almost exactly where I was when they announced the LMJ pick (and I was driving in a moderately unfamiliar area, so that's saying something). That's how strongly I reacted to it. I just didn't understand that pick at all.

Yes I agree that was a bad draft but it happens. He hit a home run last year and if Ward turns out to be a very solid player it might be a grand slam. He also had a nice draft in 2013.


The 2012 class did hurt but we are back on the right track. Stick with picking at least 1 guy we can stash away for the following year.

I am not ready to call the 2013 draft a home run yet. Some of those players will be starting this year so we will be able to judge it better.

No 2014 class was a home run(maybe Grand slam , 2013 class like a triple but still very good.
