Just prior to the Iginla goal, Brodeur committed highway robbery on Brett Hull...

Anyone know of a torrent site or video site that has these games archived? I don't get to see this one in the states. I'd like to.

I'd also like to see all the games from the 1980 Olympic tourney, obviously the Russia / USA game in full. But the USA / Sweden and Russia / Sweden ones too.

Lindberg vs Tretiak? Yes, please.

What a game. After the disappointment of Nagano.

He wasn't player of the game, but that play by Mario, damn. Doesn't look like much, but you never really see it in hockey. Richter fell for it hard.

Re-watching the game last night, Richter kept the States in it early with several key saves. That Sakic goal late in the 2nd period to give Canada a 3-2 lead was so huge (after all the pressure Canada applied to not have the lead going into the 3rd would have been quite the downer). Canada if you recall had a 5-on-3 PP for a little over a minute in the 2nd period and failed to score (Mario shanked on a wide open net, that never happened).

However, Brodeur going post-to-post to rob Hull won the game (score was still 3-2 Canada at the time).

finally a chance to watch the game.

Fleury was fucking awful. first period alone:
- got steamrolled by Deadmarsh, led to USA powerplay
- took a selfish offensive zone penalty
- slewfooted one of the US d-men instead of going for a loose puck
thankfully, they gave Kariya some better linemates and shuffled that useless twat to Nieuwy and Shanahan

Deadmarsh was an underrated player, until Jovanovski destroyed him.
I forgot about the brilliant kick-pass from Nolan to set up 66's open net opportunity
Sakic = beast. Man, he and Iginla worked well together.
Chelios was such a twat
I miss Al MacInnis

loved to hear the anthem ringing out in the middle of Utah. great game. :canada:
