I am not defending Snyder in totality. I am simply pointing out that we sucked for six years prior to Snyder.

I am also claiming that the owner has little to do with team success, except in the avenue of hiring the right management. Dan Snyder does the second most important thing for the owner to do...he spends money.

Bingo. This notion that an owner is there to only sign checks is not realistic, either. There are plenty of examples of owners that the players respected and would run thru walls for. Kraft and Leonsis are 2 that come to mind. Do owners of companies not have any responsibility for setting direction, expectations, and motivation? Of course they do. Owners of sport franchises are no different. There are good owners and bad owners. Unfortunately we have the epitome of a bad owner.

You honestly think he gives Bruce a blank check and to do whatever you want? I am positive the owners of my company decide how much of a raise and bonus I should get each year. Sure they talk to my supervisor and they even solicit coworkers to see what their impression of me and my work is.

The guy goes to almost every practice. I happen to have had dealings with this man before he became owner and I have friends that have had business dealings with him. He is not hands off.

I looked at these boards a few weeks ago and ALMOST posted poking fun at you for creating 90% of the threads and replying to yourself 90% of the time. Fact is there are very important posters who no longer post because of you.

Right now there is activity because the redskins are a story (for bad reasons). They have seemingly hit rock bottom (though I'm not sold that this is the bottom for them). They are arguably the worst team in the NFL in a year where a team is actively tanking.

This is a great article. It sums up frustration. People who haven't posted in awhile are coming back to say they have had enough or don't give a shit anymore.

Post 30- you claimed I was announcing how smart I am. Post 8 was when Skins 2021 brought it up. Post 15 was a response to him. Post 32 I said, “I didn’t announce it. He brought it up.”
