20-week season?

League wants 18 games (scrapping another pre-season game). Players look like they're okay with that if they get a second bye and other concessions.

Which would mean a 20-week season. Or 19 useable FF weeks.

16-week season - two six-team divisions, play your division twice and the other division once, and division winners get playoff byes?

Not to sound like its a conspiracy theorist, but it seems sometimes like NFL is trying to kill FF.

They already play games with injury designations. Two byes, 20 weeks. Thursday, Sunday and Monday games. Europe games at 7am.

All of this messes with FF lineups.

Its as if the NFL would rather have you use one of its partnering gambling sites each week than wait around for the end of a FF season.

They mess with FF lineups but a longer FF season is more fun. Means FF teams need good benches. Probably would need to add a bench slot in MBBRL for example.

In my 10-team league with two divisions of five you could damn near play everyone twice...but, not quite...less one team. Play division twice (8 games) and four of the five in the other division twice (8 games) and play the other once (1 game). A 17-week fantasy regular season and weeks 18 and 19 for playoffs (four teams).

- 11 weeks with double headers
- 5 weeks with a single game (scheduled during the heaviest of bye weeks)

so with 20 weeks
i too would kill week 20 (last week as done in almost everyone's league)

3 weeks of a page playoff system(curling reference ouch @TREFF worse than hockey

an example if ya are curious

week 17 team 1 vs team 2 (winner moves to Championship game in week 19)

week 17 team 3 vs team 4 (winner plays loser of above game in week 18 with that winner playing for the Championship in week 19)

and so on down the ladder....
