Series Thread: 2) Toronto Raptors (56-26) vs. 7) Indiana Pacers (45-37)

I knew Paul George would be the best player in the series. I just thought that Derozan and Lowry would've done much better than this. I have to hand it to the Pacers, I like the make up of Frank Vogel and his team. If they could get another super star with George, they'd wreck teams.

Those two never played well in the playoffs. If they did play how they do in the regular season, Toronto would be a good playoffs team.

Not surprised it looks like the Pacers will take game 1. This series could go either way, but even before today I was leaning Pacers in a long series.

Yep, said a few days ago that I couldn't trust the raptors in the playoffs. 1 reason being that they rely on free throws a lot from the backcourt

Yep. At least DeRozan actually try to make shots. Lowry is only focus on getting calls from the refs

They've now lost 7 straight playoff games. It'd be nice for the fans to boo these guys once in a while - I don't like all the un-earned love this team gets from fans inside and outside the arena. If things are tight at halftime in game 2 I want to hear the crowd get pissed.

Toronto needs a convincing win IMO. The pressure will be at a all time high if they enter the 4th in a tight game. They need a solid performance from start to finish. A nice 105-92 win would be great for them.

I think part of it is the Raptors get far fewer calls than other teams for whatever reason, but he doesn't help his cause with the incessant bitching.
