Raptors have his bird rights. If they go deep, he would have to be a guy who really, really misses home in order to leave. Him and Lowry are also tight as hell these days, so that's another plus for him sticking around.

My highest hope is the Raptors go to the ECF, put up a strong showing vs. the Cavs, swing a trade for Boogie Cousins in the off-season while re-signing DeRozan, tear shit up next year.

I don't know if I would, but that's what Toronto will have to do. I think he's a very good player, but I would be really hesitant. I don't think he's a championship cornerstone.
