Nobody should ever root for any injury, but they do happen.
If the result of that injury improves your chances to win, then that's just the way it was meant to be.

Also worth noting that the Raptors had a .629 winning % during the regular season with Carroll in the lineup and .727 with him out so saying it helped the Heat if he were out isn't backed by stats.

Edit: Especially when Carroll has been arguably the most consistent player for the Raptors this series.
