I said not too long ago that George COULD go to LA after next year- and that NEXT Summer is when they have to make their move

talk about taking something out of context.

You have also said many, many times that no one wants to go to the Lakers. You've said that far more times than you have said that PG-13 could go to the Lakers. So, nothing was taken out of context.

Having said that, I was obviously joking since my next sentence began with "Seriously though..."

i said they suck ass right now and no one is gonna touch that burning hell hole until they have hope.

history- prestige, location dont mean dick when you have nothing but lotto balls to play for.

if they are ever in a positon where they arent bottom feeders and can actually sell a free agent on winning - i can see someone going there

but right now with the smoldering dumpster fire? uhh uhhh

I agree to a point.

If the Lakers keep the top 3 pick...I'd be willing to give that up and one young guy not named Ingram. I don't know if that would be enough or not though.

By making it clear that he wants out and wants to go to the Lakers, he's driving down the price that the Pacers can ask for. The Lakers, hopefully, won't be willing to give up much for him and other teams aren't going to give up much for a guy who is likely to leave after 1 season.

On the other hand, players like that don't come cheap and I'm sure the Pacers are going to try and get a lot for him.

Gonna be fascinating to see how it plays out.

At this point, it might be more realistic to expect Paul George to be wearing a Lakersuniform rather than a Pacers one next season.

Rumors about George wanting to play in Los Angeles have been flying since before the February trade deadline, and the Pacers getting swept in the first round by the Cavaliers certainly didn't help matters.

And now, according to Mitch Lawrence of Sporting News, George's former Pacer teammates have said that he basically told them that he wanted to play for the Lakers:


"A SoCal native, he's been talking about playing for his hometown team, the Lakers, for a long time. He's never made his long-term intentions a secret within the Pacers' locker room, according to former teammates. He wants to wear the purple and gold

I honestly do not agree with that.

IT was clearly not at his best and I think the entire Celtic team was in a bit of a haze following the news of his sister's death. The Celtics were a different team in games 3 and 4. The loss of Rondo helped for sure.

But, I believe if the series started today with a healthy Rondo, the celtics would win it.
