The rule is if they got a ring, they are champion. So that is right. I think sometimes baseball reference doesnt have them as a champion if they didnt have stats for the postseason for injury or whatever reason. I was just making sure that is right bc reference keeps fucking with me. On some players they dont put World Series champion and you have to look a postseason stats and see the little ring emoji shit haha

Well in that case, Gordon has a ring and Gooden has 3.

That's not the rule tho according to Nos, the rule is they had to have been on the WS roster,Gooden wasn't for one of those years, Gordon was for 08.

I can post your OP, it never said "On World Series Roster", or "Played/Pitched in WS that year"

So I thought if they got a ring that year, they were a WS champ, which gordon did for 08, and Gooden did for 3 years.
