You don’t think if he came out and looked decent it just might make for a better off-season for all concerned? All this does is extend the soap opera around him through the off-season.

Should have played game 3. Nets organization thought the celtics would just hand them a win in game 3. Never thought they would be down 0-3

It would give people a reason to watch.

That's all I got...

Exactly. I do think he would help but i see the thought process but the organization dropped the ball by acting like he may play in the playoffs

I would be willing to bet he would have played game 3 if the Nets had their way

With the way steve nash been talking all along, that is hard to believe. The guy said nothing positive about Ben until yesterday

I suspect they are going out of their way to not totally throw Simmons under the bus

I think once the Nets say he’s on track to play he really needs to play. Make himself available at least and have Nash give him 4-5 1H minutes off the bench and go from there. I don’t think it can be argued that this will make him look like a punk. If he didn’t want that he would tell the Nets he was gonna make himself available and put it on Nash to make a decision.

He himself said he was playing, even said he was going to be a floor general or something to that affect. I about fell out on that one.

If they get swept, extend Irving and run it back next year. Use what remaining trade assets and get bench depth. Griffin shouldn’t be guarding Brown for even a SECOND.

Nash is one of my favorite players of all time, but as a coach… Yikes.

Come back to Phoenix as an assistant! You’re not ready my guy.

lol

His back was sore.

Larry Bird and Steve Nash having to lay down on the sidelines to keep their backs from tightening up so they could play at an all star level when they went back in the game say ''Wtf Ben? It's the playoffs.''
