Taking physicality over speed? I can see an argument for it, even though I don't agree with it. Orlov had 2 assists and was a +1 the last time the Caps faced the Bruins, so![]()
The Caps have enough speed to sacrifice one guy. The Bruins are a big team, you need some guys to match that. It's actually one of the main reasons the Devils went out and got Ponikarovsky and Bernier this year.

Even though Schultz has gotten better physically (a lot better), he's still not going to be able to physically match anyone on the bruins.
Disagree with ya there. His skating skills are definitely not the best, but he is the absolute best defender on the Caps at posting a guy into the boards and (most importantly) keeping him there! He's a bit scary on open ice at times, but he's solid in the corners and on the boards.
