Schultz in, Orlov sits :dalehunterlogic: :burt:

Taking physicality over speed? I can see an argument for it, even though I don't agree with it. Orlov had 2 assists and was a +1 the last time the Caps faced the Bruins, so :noidea:

Caps goal this week is to get 1 win in Boston. That's it.

I don't like Hunter's offensive approach... like, at all. But I do think this team is more emotionally even keel and the effort level has been better under his watch. That should help us in the playoffs.

The Caps have enough speed to sacrifice one guy. The Bruins are a big team, you need some guys to match that. It's actually one of the main reasons the Devils went out and got Ponikarovsky and Bernier this year.

Tim Thomas is looking forward to his trip to Washington, although he prefers visiting here in the fall.

Even though Schultz has gotten better physically (a lot better), he's still not going to be able to physically match anyone on the bruins.

(In Russian English of course)

Yes, Bruins are physical and Schultz is large like bear, but Orlov has premium hockey stick moves and creates illusions like wizard.

Disagree with ya there. His skating skills are definitely not the best, but he is the absolute best defender on the Caps at posting a guy into the boards and (most importantly) keeping him there! He's a bit scary on open ice at times, but he's solid in the corners and on the boards.

In front of the net is more important and while he has improved, still won't prevent someone like Marchand from scoring in close to the net.

I wont be posting nearly as much as I did during the Flyers/Pens game... Probably only during stoppages and intermissions.
