In the coming years a loss like this would really piss me off. But this team is young af and doesn’t know how to close out playoff games. And I get it.

This is how minny played in their first series with Ant a few years ago. Ended up losing 4-2 but could have made a case about them winning 5 of the 6 games.

Seems like almost invariably a young up and coming team requires a playoff run or two where they fall short before they can win a title. I certainly can't recall a team making the playoffs after a significant absence and winning it all. This is one reason OKC needed a couple seasons to be ready to win it all this year. Warriors, Nuggets, Celtics, Cavs, whoever. This is where Detroit and Houston are, in the early part of the process.

Detroit was up kinda big in Game1 also. Had an awful fourth.

But in reality, it’s hard not to like what I’m seeing in this series. Playing tough assed D without their best defender. A 21 year old grabbed 17 boards and a 23 year old had a triple double.

Just can’t close out yet.
