The way Sabonis grabbed that ankle and refused to let go showed intent to injure.

There was absolutely no reason for him to grab his ankle in the first place.

Unfortunately for Green, his reputation as a hot head does not do him any favors, but as was mentioned previously, Sabonis started it with ill intent.

I don't know what the fuck was wrong with the guy yesterday.

His foot was grabbed, sure. And he was completely cool with it being a flagrant 2. Shit happens in competitive games.

But his actions after the fact, trying the piss the crowd off and heckling the fans is just a little fucked up.

Ummm...pretty sure there were lots of GS fans in that arena last night too....and Green knew that...so he was likely aiming to fire them up instead...which may have seemed like he was trying to piss off the home crowd.
Perhaps it was some of both?

He did do all of those things.

Sabonis knows all the tricks. His Dad was an all time great player who played all over the world as part of the Russian National team and likely taught him well. Plus he's no doubt picked up and added a few himself.

Basically, he "out Dray'd", Dray and it worked. The Warriors offense wasn't the same after he got ejected.
