They were the better team for most of game 2, all of game 4, and most of game 1. Tonight was kind of even but in those other 3 games? Lakers had a really shitty quarter while out playing Denver in the other 3 quarters.

To have your best 4 players play 305 of a possible 328 is amazing.

Injuries are part of the game and im sure without looking it up that some teams had worse years in regards to being healthy. Still gabe vincent missed most of the year. along with vanderbilt just 29 games. Christian wood misssed most of 2nd half of season. their draft pick was never healthy and the few games he did play he couldnt shoot. I could have dealt with less games from their stars if they got minutes from some of these other guys.

lol I think you ask any coach in basketball they would take the injury situation over the previous injury situations. I would gladly take my top 4 basically being completely healthy all season and injuries to 5-11 instead of my top 4 dealing with injuries while 5-11 is healthy

Can bet money if you asked any lakers fan in September if they would take top 4 being healthy and injuries to the role players then they would all say yes and predict a top 5 seed which is what should have happened when your top players are healthy

They just happen to be the role players that play defense unfortunately. Plus, Ham was a crippling injury most of the season.

Darvin Ham's signature move. Let the other team go on a big run and don't call timeouts until after the run is over.

He called timely time outs in game 4, surprising everyone. Every other coach calls timeouts after 2 or 3 consecutive scoring possessions by the opponent with empty possessions by their team in between. Ham waits it out like he thinks he's Phil Jackson or something.
