So the Lakers decided to blame the refs rather than take responsibility for playing like shit in the 2nd half and blowing a huge lead. Ham, James, and now Russell.

I'll be very honest, the Lakers played like they didn't give a fuck and deserved to lose. This is the reason why the Nuggets are defending champs.

That being said, there were some VERY questionable calls last night. But that's definitely not the main reason they lost.

I’m curious as to why the Lakers appear to stop running plays in the 2nd half.

Are they panicking and just resorting to one on one hero ball or is it scheme?

There is a certain level of panic with everyone not named LeBron, and I am in no ways a LeBron fan FWIW.

They go balls to the wall in the 1st half and get a pretty substantial lead.

But inexplicably go away from what was working in the 2nd half.

Maybe Lebron wants it that way because he’s gassed?

He can’t get any real rest because most of the others are leaking oil 45 of the 48 minutes per game.

I think y'all are disrespecting the Nuggs and thier adjustments. Coaching 101, adjust at halftime if your losing....

The Lakers are failing to game plan on those adjustments. Or the Nuggs are just that much better.

Look, the Lakers had a really good season.

The 7th seed isn’t as much a reflection on their talent as much as it’s a reflection on how crazy the west was this year.

They finished 12 games over .500.

They are a good team.

Denver is simply better.

No shame in that.

Yep and it's not that they are so much better that the Lakers can't beat them. Every one of those wins, the Lakers had chances to win the game late.

This isn't like the streak vs your Clips where several of the games were blowouts.

But the Nugs are better enough that they have a small margin for error.

They need to find some way to get a win and try to build on it.

It won't stop with me, Mecca. I am still curious as to why the Lakers have been doing this during this 10-game winning streak by the Nuggies. Can anyone have this kind of dominant effect over the Lakers in the modern era like the one the Nuggets have had??!!

Please, prior to last year, the Lakers with similar talent have owned the Nuggs in the playoffs, OWNED THEM!

This isn't the first time Joker's brothers have had issues. At the very least they shouldn't be allowed to sit with fans anymore. Have them sit up in a box.
