there just simply...has to be a better way. its frustrating as hell.

Defund Washington.

Keep money, power and influence local where there is more direct oversight and accountability.

Y'know...how the system was intended?

tell me how it killed his reputation. he went around asking questions about conspiracies that people actually believe in. what's wrong with that?

He came off as a tin-foil wearing, bat shit crazy, lunatic. That's how that show portrayed him...

Add his pro-wrestling background, and his association with Alex Jones, and what you're left with is a fringe fanatic that is completely unelectable. He makes Ron Paul seem mainstream by comparison.

David Ortiz: ‘Nobody’ has offered clarification regarding 2003 list

David Ortiz

HOUSTON – The frustration hasn’t gone away for David Ortiz.
Speaking prior to the Red Sox’ 15-10 win over the Astros, Ortiz expressed his continued displeasure over a lack of clarification regarding why he had been identified in 2009 as one of approximately 100 major-league players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs during ’03 survey testing.
Ortiz told WEEI.com that despite numerous attempts to uncover what exactly he had been placed on the court-ordered sealed list for, there had been no cooperation from any of the parties involved.
“No. Nobody. Not MLB. Not the Players Association. Nobody,” said Ortiz when asked if anyone had revealed what he had reportedly tested positive for. “They just threw it out there that I tested positive on this one list and that was it. Nothing. So I have to deal with that, and your mind is all over the place. And I’ve lived with it.”
While performance-enhancing drugs have been at the forefront of the news in recent weeks – with 12 major-league players being suspended 50 games, and Alex Rodriguez appealing his 211-game suspension – the topic of Ortiz’ presence on the ’03 list was surfaced when discussing obstacles this season.
While the 37-year-old has had to overcome an Achilles injury earlier this season – along with going through off-the-field issues (a divorce) – Ortiz still identified his obstacles four seasons ago as the most challenging of his career.
“I don’t think I’m going to have a worse year than ’09 and I came out of it,” Ortiz said. “That’s the one thing I look at and the one thing I tell myself, ‘If you survive through that, you’re a warrior.’ A lot of things went down that year. Things I had nothing to do with. It was somebody was trying to hurt me.
“It is something that is still in the dark because nobody ever had the [guts] to come to me and say, ‘This is what was happening.’ You damaged my image at the time, and it has always stayed like that. No explanation. No nothing.”
After his four-hit game Tuesday night, Ortiz is hitting .326 with a .992 OPS, fourth-best in the major leagues.
“It’s been a crazy year,” he said. “I’ve been going through a lot of things. But then I get to the field, I look at my teammates, I look at the hope people have in us, I look at where we are. That gets me going. Fenway Park is like a dream come true to me. When I walk into Fenway and I hear everybody screaming my name, that’s something that gets me going. That got me through a tough year.”
As for the lingering frustration over a continued lack of information regarding the ’03 test, Ortiz reiterated, “A lot of things happen in your career that has to do with bad people trying to do stupid things.”

HOUSTON – Clay Buchholz seemingly took a significant step toward returning to the rotation, Tuesday at Minute Maid Park.
The Red Sox pitcher, who hasn’t seen game action since June 8 due to a trap/shoulder issues, threw off a mound for the first time July 14. The 27-pitch session was “night and day compared to” the tosses he executed in the bullpen in Oakland.
The plan for Buchholz is to now throw another bullpen Friday in Kansas City with greater intensity, having thrown at what he described as around 60-65 percent Tuesday.
“Just been awhile since I’ve thrown with any kind of intensity off a mound,” Buchholz said. “A little sore I guess from all the stuff we’ve been doing but it’s different than what I felt last time I went out.”
Neither Buchholz nor the Red Sox were willing to plan any sort of timetable beyond what is expected later this week. The bullpen Tuesday, however, did signal the start of building up the kind of strength needed to start thinking about returning to game action.
“That’s sort of what Dr. [James] Andrews said once you get to the point where you can get off the mound and it feels pretty close to normal,” he said. “That’s going to be what builds it up.”
“The biggest thing for me is what he stated after he completed the session. And that was, he felt nothing compared to his last bullpen session in Oakland,” said Red Sox manager John Farrell. “We fully recognize that through the intensity that he’s going through there’s going to be some normal things that he feels just by reconditioning and getting back in shape. Today was a good step for him.”

think the yankees are punching themselves in the face for overlooking the kid...in their own back yard?

Well the Sox should be too since I believe he has an Identity which would mean he grew up in New England.

the news is bought out by blue and red down! jesse is the only way out of this because of his celebrity status and patriotic background.

don't believe me? please see the boston globe for example. that's obvious and now corrupted.

You think the globe as a media outlet is just NOW corrupted? You think it was fair and impartial when it was owned by the New York Times? Bullshit.

John Henry made and easy and smart business decision...and bought a company for pennies on the dollar...it's what venture capitalists do...

His "patriotic" background? Fact. Jesse Ventura was NOT a Navy SEAL....he was UDT...which has the distinct difference of the fact he NEVER WENT TO SEAL SCHOOL....

Unelectable Brock...he's a character that would be WAAAY to fucking easy to beat in a general election...

I agree with him with him philosophically on a number of issues...but just couldn't support such a man...he's a showman, an entertainer...not someone that can galvanize the citizenry in this country against Washington...

so you're going to contribute to the consistant blue and red corruption? awesome down. i don't think you understand, things are just going to get worse until we get rid of these assholes. jesse is the only face without a party who can be elected. he's the only way out. you don't have another way.

down, you're officially a moron. you're acting like blue and red here and i'm not even going to try and type this all out.

navy seals started being "official" back in 1961. there was no seal school until.....?? i'm not sure. but the underwater demolition teams that ventura was on counted as a navy seal back then. there was no cute graduation of seal school, you earned the respect back then.

quote me on this "if jesse ventura does not run or get elected in 2016, blue or red will be voted in and this country will suffer even more."
