Well I need to stop because A) we have different opinions B) I need to get this test done before midnight C) I'm a pussy because I am getting emotional now thinking about Taylor. His death really hit the skins fans hard. Especially me.
RIP #21/#36

Sorry, he was never 1st team NFL All Pro
Barry was second in yards and like 4-5 in rushing TDs when he retired. His call to be done with Walters record right there for the taking. I think most every football fan would've loved to see him play more, but I don't think I've ever played the what if game with him.Unfortunately he died and that's why we have to say "if". Why is to hard to base talent on what he did and say if he continued that same talent level for 10 more years he would have been elite. I guess the same thing can be said for Bo Jackson and others. If they didn't get hurt where would they have been. If Barry Sanders never retired what would he have done.
Korey Stringer top RT all time? I mean it hurt me when he died, he finally started getting the credit he deserved but was lost much too soon. I seen him pancake players every week but i'm not blinded by his death and by the fact he played for my team, he wasn't close to a top RT all time. Same thing for Taylor, very good young player who might have gone on to be great but when judging players you can't use what if's.

His decision and I don't think it was the wrong one.
Taylor's death was tragic. His career was cut short and we'll never know what his ceiling would've been. But as was mentioned, he never was an AllPro during his short career. Hard for me to see projecting him out as an AllTime great when he never was the best.
And I do view him as an excellent player. Just don't agree with the projection.
Projections should never be part of Judging a player, imo.Why can't you use if's. Everyone judges differently and we don't all have to see the player through your glasses. I am not saying you are wrong on how you view Taylor and other players but I am saying you are wrong for telling others how they should judge a players value. Its their opinion.
Fucking Vikings had to go and draft him right before we got stuck with his buddy Jeff Backus.I can respect that. That's your view. I guess I wont be using my WC on Taylor now. I will save it for Hutchinson then.

For every person that sees Taylor through your glasses 200,000 see him through mine
I'm not telling anyone how to judge a player i'm stating facts, nobody aside from Redskins/Canes fans and or coaches and Sean Taylor's family would be crazy enough to say he's the 2nd best safety of all time.
IF, Sean Taylor had died at birth we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Hahaha damnit ehb... I grabbed Tuinei because I thought people would look past Fralic... Shoulda known, nice pick...
