Okay, let's give this a thought.

1968 & 1983 Twelve players from each year. Players must have played in one of the listed years to be eligible.

Players may be stolen but no player chosen in the first two rounds can be stolen. When stealing a player you must give your next two picks for the player you are stealing and the last available pick from the team you are stealing from. You can only steal a player from the previous two rounds.

EX... If you decide in round 7 you want to steal a player you cannot steal anyone prior to round 5, this will stop people from stealing a 3rd rounder in the 10th round and only having to give his 10th & 11th round picks for a 3rd round pick.

No Stealing will be allowed after round 15

Yes teams can be stolen from multiple times, BUT remember you have to give your next two picks and those picks cant be future rounds they have to be the next two rounds. So if you steal a guy with your round 6 pick you give up 6 & 7 and cant steal again until round 8.

Players cannot be stolen more than once. That would be WAAAAAAAAAAAAY to much work for me.

I just researched catchers. IMO, if we are gonna do 68/83 with steals, we should wave the one player per team. One per team works better in a larger pool.

I can see this too as there is only 30 teams and a 4 teams came in the 90s... so that is really 26 teams... Unless we make the minimum seasons for the 90s teams only one season...

It's not the issue of trying to find players, it's the issue of finding absolute scrubs since we have to use 24 teams. I think it will be fun, I just think the pool could be a tad bigger. I mean the pool for finding 24 players from 24 different teams isn't very large.

I wouldn't go that far. I researched every position, it's better than I thought. Still would do away with 1 per team until we do a more open mock

As always I am open to change but the reason I combined years and one per team is nearly every draft we do we all have loaded teams, I wanna start doing drafts where that's not the case, but we can make changes here...

For guys like you and me and a couple other baseball nuts, it's not an issue, but I think we have to balance the difficulty level to keep it fun for the casual guys. One/team in this pool would be tough IMO

We can make it work but getting one player per team will be a difficult task. The only reason I say is bc I will busy at work, more than usual, so my list will take more time. It affected me in the last draft...

You do realize the players you pick just had to have played a game in 1968 or 1983 that makes the player pool honestly just about 1956 - 1996 whats so bad about that...


Remember everyone 12 players had to have played a game in 1968 and 12 have to have played a game n 1983.
